The Society has recently made available its specialist Graduate Certificate in Financial Consulting Award through an intensive executive development course available via distance learning.

This award is for senior candidates/managers/executives with extensive experience and is awarded through an examined course. It consist of 6 compulsory modules and a consultancy report:-

  • Business Ethics in Finance
  • Financial Statements Interpretation & Analysis
  • Practical Corporate Finance
  • Personal Financial Planning & Consulting
  • Investment & Risk Management
  • Advanced Portfolio Management
  • Financial Consultancy Project Report

Exemptions and Advanced Standing Credit are available for modules 1 to 6 from eligible candidates with approved prior learning. There is no exemption for the Financial Consultancy Project Report.

Completion of this course leads to Graduate Certificate in Financial Consultancy (GCFC). It is a professional upgrade award.

Candidates undertaking this specialist course will be examined via continuous assignments (one per module) plus a consultancy project. This is a Professional Development course and successful completion will earn candidates the SBP Graduate Certificate and membership awards from the Society .

  • Bachelor's degree in business or finance OR
  • Level 5 Diploma with 1 - 3 years of work experience OR
  • Mature candidates with 5 years of relevant work experience may be considered by the Society.
